We appreciate you choosing us to take care of an important member of your family while you are away. The following policies are in place to insure your pet is in a safe, disease free environment.
Our clinic requires that all boarding pets be within 1 year or 3 years of vaccinations: [Canines: Distemper 1yr or 3yr, Parvovirus 1yr or 3yr, Rabies 1yr or 3yr, Bordetella 1 yr, and Canine Influenza 1yr] [Felines: (FRCPC) Upper Respiratory Viruses 1yr and Rabies 1yr or 3yr]. Your pet must be free of internal and external parasites. If they are not, treatment will be administered at the expense of the owner.
All dogs are walked 4 times a day. They are taken out individually and put into separate runs. All cats receive clean litter pans in the morning and they are cleaned as needed throughout the day. Fresh water will be available to your pet at all times. Your pet’s quarters are cleaned and sanitized at least once per day. We will be happy to administer routine medications to your pet at no additional charge, but we ask that you bring written instructions and have all medications in a container with your pet's name on it.
We feed Science Diet food. If you bring your pet’s own food, please place it in a sack or container with your pet’s name on it and all necessary instructions. If your pet requires a special diet or feeding instructions, please alert the receptionist of this information. If you require the use of canned food and you do not bring it, it can be provided to your pet at the regular cost of the food.
If you choose to bring your pet’s own bedding, it must be easily identified with your pet’s name and it must be easy to launder. We may discourage certain types of bedding as they may be too bulky to launder or easily ruined if soiled. We are not responsible for any personal items left with your pet.

Pick up for After Hours, Weekends, or Holidays
The clinic is open from 8am until 5pm Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm Tuesday, and from 8am until 12pm on Saturday, except on some holidays. You may pick up your pet(s) at anytime during normal business hours.
To pick up your pet(s) after business hours on weekdays, weekends, or holidays, please follow these instructions:
When you are ready to pick up your pet(s) call 501-362-2800. Leave a message stating your name, your pet’s name(s), and a phone number where you can be reached. Your call will be returned by a PVC employee. This individual will give you a pick up time for you to come and get your pet(s). Please, as a courtesy to our employees and boarders, DO NOT come to the clinic and wait in the parking lot. DO NOT come to the clinic until your phone call has been returned. AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION, employees are instructed to only unlock the doors for clients that have received a call back. New employees do not always know our clients by sight. Calls are returned within the hours our employees are scheduled to work. Those hours are: Monday through Friday 7pm to 8pm, Saturday 6pm to 8pm, Holidays and Sundays are: 9am to 11am and 6pm to 8pm.
Payment is expected at the time of release.
